The Museum of Fine Arts

Established as an art gallery in 1957, now the Tyumen Regional Museum of Fine Arts is considered to be one of the best fine arts museums behind the Urals.
The museum is proud of its unique painting, sculpture and china collection.
There are items of the 17th, 18th, 19th centuries and modern works of art in the exposition.
The collection includes Russian portrait painting from the 18th-beginning of the 20th centuries, pictures of West European painters of the 17-19th centuries.
Expositions of ancient furniture are displayed here.
Valuable antiques are carefully kept in the museum.
Ornamental and applied art is represented by a collection of Tobolsk carving.
In the museum there are stands with clay and ceramic works of art.
There are ancient ceramic, glass and wooden works of art, as well as ones made by Soviet and modern authors.
There is also the unique china from the Emperor Plant.

In the permanent exposition of the Tyumen Museum of Fine Arts there are pictures and sculptures from Russian artists of the 20th century, Tobolsk carvings, Russian sculptures of the 1960-1990s, glass, ceramics, china, etc.
