The museum is proud of its unique painting, sculpture and china collection. There are items of the 17th , 18th , 19th centuries and modern works of art in the exposition.
The collection includes Russian portrait painting from the 18th-beginning of the 20th centuries, pictures of West European painters of the 17-19th centuries, and also works of Soviet and modern artists and sculptors. Ornamental and applied art is represented by the china from the Emperor Plant, a collection of Tobolsk carvings, clay toys and other valuables such as an English Wedgwood jug of the 18th century and a Delft faience plate of the 17th century.
In the permanent exposition of the Tyumen Museum of Fine Arts there are pictures and sculptures from Russian artists of the 20th century, Tobolsk carvings, Russian sculptures of the 1960-1990s, glass, ceramics, china, etc.
