On Sunday 25 March, at the end of the competition part of the BMW IBU World Cup 2018, the Governor of the Tyumen Region, board member of the Russian Biathlon Union had a meeting with journalists.

 

«Only today, on the final day of the competition, during the break between the races, I finally went through the "Pearl of Siberia", looked at how our entire infrastructure works, learned how people feel, talked with them. This is probably the strongest impression," Vladimir Vladimirovich said, answering the question what he most remembered at the Tyumen event. – “The fans were happy. They said that they liked everything very much”.

 

Assessing the organization of the Biathlon World Cup in Tyumen, Vladimir Yakushev said, "Basically, we worked well, and were ready for anything. There are, of course, certain moments.
